Hello everyone,

I am subletting the second bedroom in my 2bdr apartment located in the quiet, safe, Bayonne NJ. It is a medium sized bedroom. This apartment is five minutes from a light rail station, and about 30m to Hoboken and 45m into Manhattan. There's nice spots to eat here depending on what you like, and there are so many pizza places everywhere.

All utilities (water/gas/electric/wifi) are included. However there is no laundry on premises, though there is a laundromat just two blocks away (and if you drive, there's a really huge one a few more blocks away). We have preventative pest control on one day each month, only in the common areas/wooden/ tile spaces. I've only ever seen spiders here.

The bedroom as you can see, is unfurnished for anyone who might have a lot of their own stuff to bring. It's a large double bedroom. Yes you can hang things like shelves and knick knacks up :)

This home is a safe space for LGBTQIA+/BIPOC individuals, and as such, would be preferred as I myself am queer & afab/nonbinary- but everyone is welcome as long as you are, kind and respect the space and other people 😊 ideally looking for only one roommate. If you are a pair, please message me about logistics and finances.

This space is open to short or long term sublets for the right person. First month's rent is due upon arrival, and there is no a $500 security deposit. Proof of income is ideal.

I may be adopting a cat in the next coming months, perhaps around February, as a notice to those with sensitive allergies. This is a tentative plan. Cats and small cage inhabiting creatures welcome, only. Sorry pups, I'm allergic : (

About me :

A quiet, afab/nb person, 26 years of age. I usually keep to myself, spending most of my time studying programming or making art. I am social as well, but I do spend a lot of time in my room - so while it is nice, don't worry about feeling like you /have/ to hang out. I've seen ads looking specifically for social people and expected to come to household dinners and want like a traditional family, and it's so.. interesting but not really my style. We'd have to get along so we're at least comfortable around one another (pls No trump supporters) but we don't need to constantly interact if that makes sense.

Some of my interests include psychology, astrology, and art. My style had been described as alternative/emo/2007. A lot of black and cool patterns :)
