Hello future roomie!

I’m Clay, 29, and looking for a roommate (two rooms available) in my new 3BR Stuytown apartment.

This ad is for bedroom #3.

-1 BR avail Oct 7th in a 3BR apt in the east village
-Room is available until Oct 15th, 2023

-Blocks away to 1st Ave L train / 20 minute walk to Union Square/ 10 min walk to Trader Joe’s
-Laundry and bike storage in building
-Dishwasher

-Shared living room w/ couch and TV
-1 shared bathroom
-Large room, perfect for WFH set up
-Separate Kitchen with silverware, dishes, pots and pans, etc.

Rent will be $1950 which will include all utilities (internet, water, gas, electricity, and all-day AC) Upon move in, I ask for 1st month's rent plus 50% of a month’s rent for a total of $2925. You will be set up with your own key card entry to the building and a set of keys. Also, I’m moving in on October 7th. If you move in during October, you will only pay a pro-rated month of rent.

I’m currently working hybrid, so working from home often. Ideally, you would be respectful and quiet during work hours. I’m also super laidback and an open communicator, so I would prefer you be similar. I’m an extroverted introvert, so I like to keep to myself, but down to hang sometimes if you are.

I like to keep a clean, comfortable house and will split chores with the roommates. I also understand life gets busy sometimes, so I won’t freak out about a few dishes in the sink :).

I’m bisexual and currently in a relationship, so the apartment is a safe, judgement-free, LGBTQ+ accepting environment. I’m totally cool with sleepovers, but would ask that we give everyone in the house a heads up.


I’m a Product Owner for a beauty company. I love music, and regularly goto raves and concerts (don’t worry, i’m not bringing it home). I also like exploring the city, checking out new restaurants, and going to art exhibits. As much as I enjoy going out, I also like staying in and recharging my social battery. Into horror movies, electronic music, minimalism, mindfulness, travel, nature, craft beer, and tacos.
