Hey, I?m Jenn! I'm a 28 year old Jersey City resident looking for a new roommate. I am from NJ and have been living in the area for 2 years but my roommate is moving in with her boyfriend. I am looking for someone to take over her lease starting October 1st.

I live in a ~900 sq ft, 2 bed/1 bath apartment on the 2nd floor of a new luxury apartment building on Newark Avenue. Rent is currently $1200/month. The bedroom can fit a queen/king size bed, 2 night stands and a dresser. In addition, you will have a walk-in closet with spacious overhead shelving. The apartment has great natural light and an open space plan. Amenities in the building include: mailboxes and laundry located on the first floor, an intercom system for guests and deliveries, a parking garage and secure bike storage. The building is occupied largely by young professionals and lots of cute dogs.

Located in the Hilltop section of Jersey City, the apartment sits between The Village and Central Journal Square neighborhood. With its convenient location, the apartment offers easy access to the city and a lot of great local bars and restaurants - a 10 min walk to the Journal Square PATH, a 15-20 min walk to Grove Street/Downtown.

My friends would describe me as a friendly, clean, organized person who is a respectful roommate. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to happy hour, staying active and going down the shore. I work a 9-5 job in Human Resources for a pharmaceutical company in North Jersey but am currently working from home. I am looking for a friendly female (preferably in her late 20?s/early 30?s) who would be a respectful roommate and would like to enjoy all that Jersey City has to offer.
