Large cozy and sunlight bedroom in Greenpoint 2br

Hi there!

Thank you for considering renting out my beautiful apartment. I have lived in this place, and loved this place, for three years. I am a theater producer and a yoga instructor and both of my industries are completely shut down due to Covid - so I am out of a job and have moved home with my parents temporarily. Looking for someone to take over this beautiful space, until I can return to the city.

The apartment building: is on a quiet, tree-lined block, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I have slept with my windows open several times, and it's always so quiet! Such a rarity in New York City. The building has 8 units, so there is low traffic, and the neighbors are lovely. My across the hall neighbor has a miniature golden doodle - so that is fun to run into them. We are 1 block from a laundromat, 1 block from C-town grocery store, 1 block for Greenpoint G train stop, 2 blocks from Greenpoint ferry, 2 blocks from transmitter park.

The apartment: is on the 2nd floor, one flight of stairs. The apartment's main entrance goes into the kitchen, but the bedroom being rented also has it's own private entrance. The apartment's layout is ideal for space in NYC - with both bedrooms being on complete opposite ends of the apartment. It provides for great privacy. There is a small kitchen with a full-size fridge, lots of pantry space, a dishwasher, and a window. The kitchen also has a large shared closet which is great for coats, shoes, cleaning supplies, odds and ends, etc. The bathroom is quaint but cute. It has a nice-sized shower and the water pressure is excellent. And then there is a living room where we have a couch, chair, large flat-screen Roku TV, some games, a wine shelf, etc.

The room: is huge for New York standards - it is 15x12 and has a double door deep closet, 12 ft ceilings, two huge windows, and a fake fireplace with mantle. It currently has a queen-sized bed and a 9 drawer vintage dresser. There is a light installed above the bed for late-night reading, and the room uses radiator heat. I also have a brand new, large window AC unit that is extra quiet, and works great. The windows are both equipped with black-out roller shades, and curtains as well.

My current apartment is a professional in her young 30s, who is currently working from home, but often likes to meet friends in the park for socially distanced hangs, etc. We have both been living in the apartment since we signed the lease together 3 years ago. The super and the landlord are very responsive, and make the overall living situation very seamless and enjoyable.
