Apartment share in Franklin Ave. 3 Bed

Available June 1. Middle and rear rooms on the second floor in a typical, 3 BR Brooklyn railroad apartment. One room has no closet, but it furnished with an armoire. The high ceiling (nearly 10 feet!) also makes a loft bed possible.

The apartment was renovated about 10 years ago and has high ceilings and wood floors and a good-sized shared kitchen and dining area. There is wi-fi installed and the option for cable t. v. Our building is 2 short blocks to the 2, 3, 4 & 5 trains and about a 40-minute trip to midtown Manhattan.

Looking for a mature, reasonably quiet (but communicative!) grad student or professional (or at least gainfully employed) person who will cheerfully contribute to the maintenance, cleanliness, and good spirit of our home. No smoking and no pets, please.

We begin a new 1-year lease July 1 and there's the option to continue an indefinite 30-day tenancy-at-will, with the possibility of a modest rent increase when the new lease begins on July 1. The rents are currently $875 and $890 per month and include heat and hot water. Utilities, which include electricity, gas, and Internet, average about $50 per month. There will also be a security deposit equal to one month rent. We have a good deal with an excellent, responsive landlord.
