What a time to be looking for a sublet! ???? Currently the room is empty, except for a fairly new, full-size mattress + frame, that can be yours or arranged to be taken out. I have a room for rent in West Harlem, 15 min subway to midtown, right next to the Hudson, walking distance to great restaurants, parks, grocery stores, and more. It's a dog friendly and chill neighborhood. I?ve lived in this apartment just over 4 years with my pup, I love the area.????

- Your room fits a full size bed comfortably, true closet with built-in organizer system. *option of current bed in photo: full sized, under a year old, headboard with drawers beneath for your items. I can also lend the black out curtain, and other items to make it fully furnished if you like.

- The apartment is furnished, with room for your things; your room (can be) unfurnished.

- The rooms are side-by-side; the walls are soundproof.

- The kitchen is fully stocked, with room to dine-in.

- Full bathroom with a shower/bathtub, great water pressure.

- 4th floor walkup, great management and super lives on site.

- Laundry on site, brand new and clean, in the connected building.

- Gym, newly renovated, in our basement, for a small monthly fee.

Location:
- Two blocks from the 1 train (137th St./ City College), walking distance to 125th stop. The B, C lines are 13 min walk. Also M4 M5 + M11 buses are on the corner.

- 15 minutes to midtown Manhattan.

- CCNY a block away, Columbia U walking distance.

- 24 hr laundromat/ drop off service a block away, *new laundry room the adjoining building.

- I feel safe here. Very dog friendly area, and a short walk to West Harlem Piers Park, Fairway, Riverbank State Park, Duane Reade, plus many restaurants, bars, etc.

Rent: $1175 a month (*prorated for May)

About me: Mid-30s female professional, who has lived in NYC for just over 10 years. I'm clean, friendly, respectful and mindful of sharing an apartment. Your other roommate is my 7 year old sweet pup, who is a well-trained, lovable, hypoallergenic terrier mix. He loves people, is quiet and will mostly keep to my room. *Willing to have a 2nd small dog or a cat, please include a photo/details in email.

About you: clean, considerate, on time with bills, equally contributes to apartment stuff and generally cool to be around. Female/ Male/ LGBTQ friendly. No hard drugs. No kids. No couples.

This will be a month to month sublet; ideally, I am looking for a longer commitment. Your sublet month would begin May (?), and would need a month's notice, before the 1st, for move out.
