Beautiful huge room in Bed-Stay (Short term)
Hi,
I am looking for someone in-between apartments, looking for a short stay of a few months, or on an exchange/summer etc program. My apartment is available until end September. If you?ll like to stay longer, I can speak to the landlord about you taking over the lease.
I have 2 bedrooms for rent. One furnished (avail May 1) and the other unfurnished (available April 20) Please ask me about the unfurnished room? you will see a picture in the ads.
The room has a Full bed, a reading chair and table, a rocking chair and a mirror. It is best for someone visiting NYC for a short time, in-between apartments, or looking for a place to land before finding their own special apartment. It does not have a lot of space, so works best for someone with just their suitcases and a few other things.
Why I love this apartment, 4 minutes walk to the A/C at Nostrand with connections to the G at Hoyt or connections to everything else at Fulton Street. The B44/B25 trains stop 2 seconds away, tons of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, gyms, everything you can think about right on Fulton Street.
There is a washer/dryer in the apartment-- yes, for real and heat+hot water are included so say YES to lower monthly utility cost, internet, gas and electric. Also, I have a record player and a projector, so if you love records and don?t own a TV:-). The apartment is fully furnished.
You: Clean and loves to share cleaning the apartment, no hair in the tub or toilet. Courteous, respectful and loves to discuss issues-- no passive-aggressiveness. Does your dishes, cleans up after yourself and is mindful of shared stuff. No overnight guests.
I treat this space as a sanctuary and hope that you would too.. I am allergic so no pets pls.
About me: Female professional, works from home, for now, pretty quiet with pops of singing and dancing and general larking about, loves to cook and sometimes share meals if you are up to it, and loves a clean apartment-- not obsessive. She also loves theater, visiting old churches, museums, live music, jazz, walking in good weather, dislikes the gym but knows that it is good for her, and likes to travel.
To move-- first-month rent and your deposit, sign a lease, show at least one reference plus a copy of your ID-- all that good stuff.
NB: If you bake, or can manage to make decent sourdough bread, please please message me:-).
