My name is Kristen.
I am in search of a female roommate (no couples please) to fill a room in my apartment located in Brighton, MA. My current roommate is starting a grad program in NY and won?t be renewing her portion of the lease. My 1 year old kitty, Mona, and I are eager to find someone who is chill & down to earth, to fill her place.

A little about the space: open floor plan, updated amenities, large bedroom closets, two communal storage closets, central air, dishwasher/ garbage disposal, secure extra storage space in basement.

Extra perks: guest parking, in ground heated pool access, convenient trash pickup, snow removal of parking spaces/walkways, close to bus routes and the mass pike while remaining quiet in a rural location (the Newton golf course is in the backyard).

A little about me: I?m originally from CT, I?m 24, one year out of graduate school. Photography and coffee make me happy, I love to travel, and I have a slight obsession with house plants. I work as a photo technician at a company located in Newton called EverPresent. With a set work schedule M-F I usually like to spend my evenings relaxing, watching netflix/hulu/playing xbox/reading/etc. I am a considerate and responsible roommate & I tend to prefer a cleaner living space & hope that anyone interested in taking her room would feel the same. (these photos are currently screenshots from past tenants...I am working on updating them with current photos. The bedroom available would not be furnished unless you're in need of those accommodations- I am sure my current roommate wouldn't mind not having to move some things to NY).

All the other important information:

Laundry: coin op, in basement (down one flight of stairs)
Rent: 1,16? EACH, per month totalling: 2,320-- individual electronic transfers to landlord on the first of the month.
^^ **This price is a little steep, I know, but this apartment is honestly the best I?ve ever had... which is why I don?t want to have to move out at the expense of my roommate leaving in September. Everything about living here is so convenient and enjoyable? the perks (you won?t find at this price anywhere in Boston) just make the extra spending so much more worth it. **
Pets: I have a cat, and my landlord will not allow any other animals, although I would be down. :(
Parking: numbered spots available in parking lot to rent
Utilities per month: Xfinity/Eversource --ranging from $60-$150 per month each

** Photos of living room are from online before I moved in. Everything is furnished i. e couch, table w/ chairs, tv, tv stand, side tables, lamps, etc. You're welcome to bring extra if you prefer but you'd only need to furnish your bedroom.

My landlord told me that I need to find someone to re-sign the lease with me before 6/15/19 or he is going to start showing the place to potential renters.
