We are less than three blocks from subway. The bus & citiride are on corner...taxis at door. There are supermarkets and pharmacies within a block...as well as numerous restaurants, bars, entertainment.
The room is presently furnished with a king size kingsdown (almost new mattress...always covered),desk, chairs, double dresser, side table, lamps, flat screen tv and hi speed internet. It has one large closet.
The building has a laundry room and a parking garage.
There is NO COMMON AREA...it is indeed a spare room. The kitchen provides use of microwave, toaster, coffee maker and refrigerator. Otherwise there is no cooking.
Since we are over 30 floors up there is not much city noise. The view is truly breathtaking! Even seasoned New Yorkers gasp!! We are a block from the river promenade!
I occupy the other bedroom which is well separated from your space. I am quiet, considerate, immaculate, mature.
Although friendly and helpful I am not looking for a social situation nor hang out.
House rules:
No smoking, drugs, heavy drinkers nor parties.
No overnight guests
We are two blocks from Carl Shurz Park, six blocks from Central Park, Fith Ave, Museum mile. We are within short walking distance of six major hospitals including sloan kettering, weill cornell, columbia presbyterian, lenox hill, and more. We are close to the united nations, ny school of interior design, hunter college, columbia, marymount, fordham, city university, etc.
