Montrose ave L train East Williamsburg

We are neat and clean and prefer to find a roommate who will also keep the apartment clean. Absolutely no drugs or drama as I work for the city. We respect all people and support all first responders.

One furnished (or can be empty) room available now, or wait until August 1 - in a three bedroom 4th floor walkup apartment. Short term stay is ok and international students and interns welcome. Three friendly fluffy cats live here. I sweep daily and keep the apt clean - this is not a crazy cat house.

The room faces the street and gets lots of southern light from two windows, has a twin sized bed, air conditioner, small desk, chair, and closet. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking.

Rent is $850 a month plus $50 for utilities (electricity, gas, internet, heat - the apartment gets more than enough heat in the winter - the windows usually have to be open a bit). $900 security required.

The apartment is 1.5 blocks from the Montrose stop on the L train, 6 blocks from the Lorimer stop on the J train, 6 blocks to the Broadway stop on the G train, B43 and B60 buses half a block away, 13 blocks from the Williamsburg bridge. Small cafes, delis, bakeries, grocery stores, bike shops, laundry, bars and post office all within walking distance.

I'm a male, mid 30s, like plants, bicycles, motorcycles and traveling / camping when I can. I work afternoon to night and am sometimes gone one or two days during the week so you won't see me too much. My roommate is a male, mid 30s, likes hiking, has a PhD in Neuroscience but is transitioning to the data science field.
