Room available in Bed Stuy Brownstone

Hi, I have a large room for rent starting November 1st.

Located on the second floor of a brownstone, the room is approximately 172 square ft, with high ceilings and two closets, one a bit larger with a bottom drawer that's built into the wall. The room stays cool in the summer and it's very quiet as it's away from the noisy street. It's in the middle of the apt between one bedroom and a hallway that leads to the kitchen/common area. There's a piano in the common area if you like to play. The room is unfurnished. The bed and dresser in the photos are no longer there.

The place is three short blocks from the Bedford/Nostrand G train, and about a 10
minute walk to the A/C train. Markets, laundry, cafe?s, bars, car services,
restaurants, etc. are all nearby. I'm looking for someone who's able to pay rent on time and share basic chores. It would also be great if you had a somewhat consistent work/school/whatever schedule outside of the apt during the week.

The rent is $900 per month plus $50 for utilities which includes gas, electricity, hot water, and internet. You'd need a first and one month security deposit as well as proof of income to move in.

I'm a male in my 40's. I work most mornings/afternoons and at night on the weekend. I enjoy reading, writing, and recording music in my spare time. The other roommate is a guy in his 30's who works full time and is also a musician.

Oh, and I should mention that you'll be sharing the place with a friendly cat. She mostly stays in my room but sometimes likes to roam about. Unfortunately, the landlord doesn?t allow any additional pets in the building.
