1 BDRM in 2 BDRM Ground Fl. Apt. w/Garden and Gate

Ad ref# 100065956

This Room rental and apartment share is all inclusive: Heat, AC, Water, Gas, Electric, Cable and Wifi for $1250 a month.

I am asking first and last month's rent to move in $2,500.
That means you pay for your last month's rent up front. When you give me 30 days notice at the end of a month, that you are leaving, your last month is already pre-paid. There is no deposit/security to be returned. Therefore the minimum stay is 2 months. However, I am hoping for 6 months or longer if possible.

Close to subways...
5 minutes walking distance to 2, 3, 4, 5, N, R (Court St./Boro Hall) and 10 minutes walking distance to A, C, F (Jay St/Boro Hall)

Click on Photos to see living room /dining room and bedroom for rent. The living room decor is now more Southwestern. The current bedroom photos show it as furnished previously. but there is no longer a low dresser in the room. I can add a tall bureau if needed. It has the queen size bed shown with a comfortable foam mattress and comforter,. floor lamp, table lamp, small bookcase, table, chair, fan, area rugs with . drapes and sheers on the 3 tall windows.

Room - is a spacious bedroom with 3 tall windows, in a true two bedroom apartment and measures 13ft. 9in. X 8 ft. 9 in. (almost 14' x 9') Room features 3 windows, a modest closest and wood floors.

There is a cable line for a TV in the room, although you are welcome to view the flat screen TV in the living room, as well. The apartment has WIFI.

The apartment has a shared living room/dining room, (w/5 windows, skylight and brick fireplace), bathroom, and working kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Light, airy and clean. It is actually a semi-detached unit with a garden, no units above or attached at the sides and it has a private gated entrance.

This is a lovely and friendly Historical Landmark neighborhood. Multiple convenience stores, grocery stores, gyms, restaurants, Trader Joe's, and bars are within a short walking distance, as well as movie theaters, Library, Emergency Room, doctors and dentists, Laundry, Dry Cleaners, Post Office, The River Cafe and the famous Brooklyn Heights Promenade with a great view of lower Manhattan are all here.

I am a retired, straight, female clothing designer with an online business with a fellow designer. I work at home and am easy-going and respectful of personal space and privacy. I don't sweat the small stuff and have a friendly nature. I am creative and enjoy design, the arts and sciences, music, books, films and a pleasant, calm atmosphere.

I am looking for a roommate, male or female, straight or gay, non-smoker who would be comfortable here and appreciate the neighborhood. Someone who is also easy to live with, considerate, co-operative, responsible and reliable. Someone who will be as respectful of my space and privacy as I will be of theirs.

This is a wonderful place to come home to after working a long day in the city or in the financial district. It's positive and restorative. A completely different energy than in Manhattan and yet so close to it.

In summer I put out a table and chairs and umbrella in the garden to enjoy the space...and fill planters and flower boxes with flowers for color. It is a nice space to enjoy in the daytime or evenings.

This area caters to professionals with stores and restaurants staying open late. Brooklyn Law School and St. Francis college are located in this neighborhood too. There are lots of young people as well as working professionals to meet here.

Check out my short video and the few pix I have listed....and if you think you might like living here, contact me and let me know a little bit about yourself... and we can set up a time and day to meet and for you to see my place.
