I have a furnished room with a private bathroom available for rent Oct 2022 - Jan 2023 in a modern bohemian 2b2b townhome in the Central District. This is a great fit for someone moving to Seattle, who wants a shorter term lease while exploring different neighborhoods.

Your furnished room features a desk, chair, sofa, full-size bed with Casper mattress, end table, and sizable closet. You will also have access to a private bathroom. Washer and dryer are in-unit. The shared bi-level living space has 15ft high ceilings and soaring windows, overlooking large trees giving you the feel of being in a forest. The living space is connected to a sizable patio with a covered pergola & heater making it a fantastic entertaining and hang-out space. The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances and all necessary utensils. We will split the utilities and internet which typically come out to be $180 per person per month.

The location is very commute friendly for anyone who works in Downtown Seattle (10 min drive), South Lake Union (10min drive), Bellevue (10-15 min drive) etc. Capitol Hill, Madison Valley, Lake Washington, I-90, I-5 are all minutes away. Bus lines #4 and #8 which go to Capitol Hill, SLU, Downtown have bus stops steps from the home. The I-90 bike and walk trail, parks (Colman Park, Sam Smith Park), tennis courts, are a few blocks walking from this home. There is always plenty of street parking available.

About your housemate: I was born and raised in Poland but have been living in the US for the past 10 years. I’m a former competitive track athlete, currently dedicated to cycling, running, and HIIT, so I get up early and go to sleep fairly early. I’m always up for an outdoor adventure. I work as a software engineer in a hybrid work setting so I commute to the office twice a week. I’m also a coffee lover so you will always find fresh coffee beans at home. Finally, I have two fluffy Norwegian forest cats Lionel & Louise who love cuddling and will provide you with the warmth you need this winter. Lionel and Louise are possessive of their home, so no other pets are allowed. My partner is traveling outside the country for those months, which is why we are renting out our extra space.
