Looking for young Female professional/student

Room will not be available until December and it is a short term three month rental. I am renting one room in my first floor apartment to a female college student and/or young professional.

Absolutely no smokers allowed!!!!! Not even smokers who will smoke outside. We have very serious breathing issues and cannot have anyone who smokes around us. Also must love cats!! Not don’t mind cats or kind of like cats, must be a cat fanatic!!

I am a single mother living in a three bedroom—I have a room, my twelve year old very well behaved son has a room, and the other room would be yours. Even though there is only one bathroom, there is a spacious living room and kitchen as well as a washer and dryer that you would have access to. Cable and wifi are included in your rent. No pets allowed as I have a sphynx kitten (a hairless cat). You absolutely must LOVE cats. If not, please do not inquire. It will not work. The kitten is extremely affectionate and curious and follows you everywhere you go. If you do not love cats, you will be annoyed and this will not work. Part of the interview is getting along with the cat. He is like my child. Also, because I already have a kitten, there would be no pets allowed so if you intend on getting an animal, please don’t inquire as it will not work. Be advised that I have several cameras in the common areas of my home.

I am looking for a single roommate ONLY. Absolutely no couples allowed!! Ladies, if you have a boyfriend, this situation more than likely will not work. Please do not apply. If you intend on getting a boyfriend, also do not apply. I do not like random people in my home. I have a child who resides with me. I do not have guest over and I am asking for someone who also will not have guest over. I am looking for someone who is clean and neat. I am looking for someone who does not smoke, does not loiter outside the house. I am basically looking for someone who is an introvert and mostly a home body who stays to themselves who is focused on studying or working. I am absolutely not looking for a person who likes to party. I am looking for someone who simply needs a safe place to stay where they can focus on reaching their goals.

The most important thing is must be able to pay your rent, keep the place clean, love cats and kids. Part of living with me would include washing your dishes, wiping down the counters, taking out the garbage when it’s full. I do not want any roaches or rats so cleanliness is extremely important.

I cannot stress enough that the breed of my kitten is super friendly and playful. If you do not like kittens, he will annoy you. You also must love kids as I do have a twelve year old son who resides with me and although he is always in his room playing video games or watching tv, I still prefer you to love children.

I am very specific about the kind of roommate I am looking for. Please do not lie and say you are not a smoker and then move in and I smell smoke on you. Please do not say you love cats and then you move in and get irritated that this cat is following you everywhere. Please do not say you are clean and then leave your stuff in common areas of the house. You are renting one room which is where I expect all of your belongings to be. Please be a respectful person as I give the respect that I expect.
