Master Bedroom for rent near Stone Mountain Park

We have a room available for rent in our house in Stone Mountain. It is part of the Villas at Stone Mountain, a quiet, mostly retirement community near Stone Mountain Park. The house is 2b/2b with an open floor plan, and the room for rent has a private bathroom. The bedroom closet is spacious. There is a two car garage and a sunroom. One roommate, 37 year old gay male, very friendly, respectful, and clean.

The neighborhood has a community center, small exercise room, and pool (currently closed due to COVID). The neighbors are all friendly and quiet, mostly elderly. It is an HOA community, so all exterior/landscaping needs are taken care of by the HOA. The HOA is well-run and organized - I've never had any issues with any board members or policies.

Nearby points of interest: We are one exit east of Stone Mountain Park, off of West Park Place. The neighborhood has quick access to Highway 78 and Stone Mountain Blvd, which features multiple restaurants, gyms (LA Fitness and Planet Fitness), and other shops. There is a Walmart Supercenter less than 5 minutes away, and a Kroger less than 10 minutes away. There is a nearby movie theater. Snellville offers great shopping as well, and is about 15 minutes east. The house is about 15 minutes from I-285, via 78 West.

Cost: $800 flat.

Available: Start of September, with a little flexibility. The lease must be for one year, per our HOA bylaws regarding leasing.

Who we're looking for: Responsible, clean, employed. A background check and recent pay stubs will be a huge plus for us when choosing a tenant.

Furniture: Kitchen, dining room, living room, and sunroom furniture will stay unless arrangements are made with the tenant. Bedroom furniture can stay or be removed. It is older and has some wear, but it's functional.
