I am looking for a roommate for my apartment in Sunnyside, Queens (10 minutes from 59th and Lexington; 17 minutes from Grand Central, less than 5-minute walk from 7 train at 40th St/Queens Blvd). The apartment is located in a very well kept elevator building in a wonderful, booming neighborhood near of conveniences including a great coffee shop, restaurants and pharmacies.

Your room has two windows (great light!), some nice built-in storage space an air-conditioner and a door with its own key. Both the kitchen and bathroom have windows.

The rent is $1,000 plus half of utilities (electricity, cable and internet).

The room is furnished. Furniture includes: Serta queen mattress and box spring (only 2 months old); two night tables, love seat, armoir (with hanging rod, shelves and drawer); console table; wall mirror; shoe rack; shelves and hanging rod (built into wall).

The ideal roommate will be a respectful, clean, working professional, who is willing to share household chores. I have two adorable cats, so a roommate should not have pets of her own but should be okay with pets in the apartment.
