- About 20 min on the train from Manhattan (7 train)
- 2 blocks from the 7 Train at 40th St, between Queens Boulevard and Greenpoint Ave.
- Cute neighborhood with many restaurants and Seamless options; 3 minute walk to cafes/shops/groceries/bars on Greenpoint Ave & 15 min walk to cafes and restaurants on Skillman Ave
- 1 block from a park (bball courts, handball courts, soon to be playground).
- 2 blocks from a very large and fairly gourmet grocery.

- Home to me, Jessie, and my cuddly pitbull, Coney.
- Large living/dining room comes largely pre-furnished, though I'm somewhat flexible if you have furniture.
- Recently renovated kitchen; very spacious: 10' x 7'6". Could be an eat-in kitchen.
- No laundry in building; 2 laundromats within 3/4 min walking distance
- Rent is $1, 000 + utilities
- Current year long lease ends in July 2015 with possibility to renew

-2 west-facing windows with direct view of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, and quite a ways north too

ME

I'm a female literacy teacher at an elementary school in my late-twenties. I grew up in NYC but have been living in Australia for the last 7 years. I play a lot of sports and love science. During the week I tend to go out to dinner a couple times with friends, and bunker down at home to read and relax the rest of the time. I don't party.

SPECIFICS

To move in you will need $2000 -- 1 month rent and 1 month nonrefundable security deposit which will be used as your last month's rent. (Apt is rent stabilized.)
