Looking for a young professional, FEMALE roommate to rent one bedroom in a true 2 bedroom apartment!

APARTMENT:
The apartment is newly renovated (right before I moved in this past August) in a 6 unit walk-up. I am on the second floor facing the street.

Building is QUIET in an incredibly safe, friendly neighborhood -- Sunnyside, Queens. 20 minute ride door-to-door to Grand Central, so it is the perfect location for those working in Midtown. The apartment is a block and a half away from the subway.

Rent is $1, 000 with heat and hot water included. Utilities (electric and internet) range about $60 a month. Upon moving in landlords are requesting $1, 000 rent + $1, 000 security deposit.

Landlords require that new tenant have a FULL-TIME position, proving this through either a pay stub or offer letter. Looking for young professionals. No smoking.

ABOUT ME:
I'm a recent transplant from upstate NY, originally from the west coast. I moved here in August for a job in economic development, and I spend most of my time off exploring the city. I am looking to live with an open-minded, respectful, and responsible person. I have a 7 year old adorable cat named Eleanor, so I prefer that the new roommate be cat-friendly.

The room is available effective Dec. 1!

My lease is up July 31st, 2015, so you would be taking over the remainder of this lease - 8 months.
