Furnished larger room in a 2bed apt

APARTMENT:
Large 2 bedroom,1 bath, shared with one person and a small hypoallergenic dog
Livingroom is separate from the spacious kitchen that has fairly new appliances: toaster, blender, cooker, large oven, etc
Windows are facing another building but there is still plenty of sunlight and the plants are thriving

ROOM:
desk, chair, lamp, full size bed, walk in closet+hangers, large windows with good sunlight, facing a quiet street/minimal outside noise for those who like quiet.
(you are welcome to bring your own furniture if you are staying long term)

ME:
female, 30's, work and regularly take classes in my spare time.
I love to learn and make time for it.
I also travel often.
My dog is about 10LB, he's hypoallergenic (doesn't shed) and fully house trained.
He doesn't chew on things nor pees in the house but he barks, mostly when someone is at the door or enters his territory unexpectedly.
In general, he comes with me to most places as much as possible.

I am not a neat freak but I clean the apartment once a week and keep things tidy.
I have been living in NYC for many years, I am friendly, kind and very social but don't bring the party home.
If I host a party, I prefer rooftops and picnics in the park.
Occasionally invite a friend or two over for a sit down dinner.
no loud music
no drugs (Honestly, I'm not against it at all and don't mind if you do but just not in the house.)

YOU:
I would like to live with someone who is communicative, responsible, honest, independent and respectful.
Someone who treats their personal space like a home and not just a "place to sleep" ...
Looking for someone who could stay long term but short term is ok as long as you could let me know in advance.

LOCATION:
West Side of Manhattan near Columbia University.
right off of the A B C D trains and a short walking distance to the 1 and the 2 trains.
about a 10min ride to midtown.
walking distance to Metro North Uptown station
