Room For Rent In The Heart Of Bushwick

My roommates and I are looking to fill a room in our four bedroom two bath apartment in Bushwick. One of our roommates just moved in with her significant other and we are looking to sublet the room for the remainder of our multi-year lease (about a year). This is an awesome opportunity for someone looking for a stable yet flexible living arrangement.

The apartment is stunning. There’s tons of natural light, a dishwasher, and several balconies. The building has a courtyard and an awesome rooftop (that our apartment empties into). Oh, and there is laundry in the building. It’s two floors and, frankly, it’s almost like two separate apartments. The room itself has a balcony and a decent-sized closet. You’ll share a bathroom with one other person.

The building is in prime Bushwick. It’s only steps from some of the best bars, clubs, restaurants and coffee shops etc that New York City has to offer. It’s close to Maria Hernandez Park. It’s blocks from the L train (Jefferson St) and close to the M/J/Z. You can be in Manhattan within 15 minutes.

We are three young professionals in our late 20s/ early 30s. I am a journalist, one of us works in non-profit comms and the other works as a Paralegal in the city. Two of us work remotely. We hang out on occasion but mostly do our own thing. We treat the home like a sanctuary; we’ve been known to throw some awesome parties but it’s not a regular thing. I’ve lived here for two years and it’s happened three times. We’re looking for someone with the same vibe — fairly open minded, relatively clean and communicative. Open to guys, girls, etc. We're open!

You must love dogs!!! That is not negotiable. We have a beagle living with us.

THE PRICE:

The room is $1475 plus utilities.
There is also a security deposit equivalent to one month’s rent
