Rent stabilized room for $822/month

Why hello!

We need someone to take over by May 1st to take over my lease which ends September 1st. I will most likely be moving out April 27th or 28th so you can move in early. Option to extend after September 1st. Must be able to complete the application process with our management company which includes a credit check and proof of income (or a guarantor). The rent is $822/month and we will need the first month and a security deposit, totaling $1,644. The apartment is rent-stabilized and receives central air conditioning and heat.

This room is in the heart of Bed-Stuy, next to the J train (one block down from Kosciuszko St.) and next to the B38 and B46 bus that can take you to the L train and Atlantic & Barclay for more train options. The room has a closet and comes unfurnished. The kitchen is fully stocked for just about any cooking wants/needs. The apartment has two full bathrooms so despite four other roommates bathroom access has never been an issue. There is bike storage and rooftop access with chairs!

We are looking for a friendly, queer/trans/POC/black-affirming roommate who is willing to share cleaning responsibilities. I am moving out but four of my roommates are staying. All of them can tell you all about the cafes, grocery stores, gyms, and parks in the area. There are multiple laundromats and bodegas within a three-block radius. We have laundry in the building (app operated).

Management will require that you have at least a 700 credit score and make 40x the rent OR have a guarantor with those requirements.

Roommate One is a criminal justice major, female, 28, and extremely sweet and respectful. She works multiple jobs and goes to school full-time so she's not home often.

Roommate Two is non-binary, 28, and prefers they/them pronouns. They are a Business Rep for the local theatre union, love to cook, and are equally sweet and respectful.

Roommate Three is non-binary, 22, and prefers they/them pronouns. They are a recent college grad pursuing acting in NYC. They work multiple jobs so they are not home often either. They are very friendly as well!

Roommate Four works as an actress/singer, female, 23, and is super sweet!
