The Apartment:
Bedroom is available in this 2bd/1ba Upper West Side apartment. Apartment has air conditioning, cable, Internet, home phone, etc. Apartment complex also has a gym, laundry room, courtyard, and package receiving. Utilities (gas & electricity) are $115/per month (on average), which we?d split. Cable/internet/phone is about $80/per month, which we'd also split.

The Location:
Conveniently located on Manhattan's trendy Upper West side between Amsterdam and West End Avenues, within walking distance of several New York City attractions such as Central Park, Broadway Theaters, Lincoln Center (Alice Tully Hall, Metropolitan Opera House), Columbus Circle and the Time Warner Center, just to name a few. In addition there is a wide array of restaurants, bars, bookstores, music stores, cinemas, pharmacies and supermarkets just steps away. You also won't have to worry about transportation: The 1 and 9 trains are located only one block from the complex as are several bus lines.
With its ideal location, it is not surprising then that our residence has become a favorite not only with students from surrounding schools (The Julliard School of Music, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Fordham University and Columbia) but also with young professionals. In fact, the famous Jazz pianist Thelonious Monk at one time made this his home.
