Beautiful Second Floor Apartment in East Arlignton

Great 2nd floor apartment in a two-unit house right across the street from a park in East Arlington! A nice place with awesome downstairs neighbors, lots of natural light and space, easy access to Arlington Center and major bus routes, and a solid landlord (lives nearby and is very responsive and easygoing).

Currently a 3 bedroom, but one of the rooms is a little wonky as a bedroom, so I’m hoping to have it be a 2 bedroom unit plus an extra spare room once the current roommate moves out. The spare room would be perfect for an office, home gym, craft/art room, etc. I’m open to it being a shared space or just for your use.

Other rooms include a kitchen, living room, dining room, 1 bathroom, and a three-season porch. There is also a shared fenced-in backyard, an unfinished basement with free laundry machines for the unit and storage space, and a driveway. The apartment also has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, gas stove/oven, and bathtub.

Your share of utilities (WiFi, heat, electricity, compost) would typically run $130-260 per month. July 1st start date, but you would probably be able to start moving things in during the last week or so of June.

I’m a 29 year old legal assistant who has lived in New England my whole life and this apartment for the last 4 years. I usually work from home 3 days a week. I’m a non-smoker, an early riser, respectful of private and shared spaces and things, and generally tidy in common spaces. I’m friendly, respectful, communicative, and reliable. My interests include reading, traveling, trivia, gardening, board games, D&D, crafts, watching TV, musicals, animals, history, and spending time with friends.

I’m looking for someone who is a non-smoker (it bothers my asthma), LGBTQ+ friendly, and Covid vaccinated.

You must love dogs, because I have a dog that will immediately love you and consider you her new best friend. Cleo is a 30 lb lab-mix that turns 6 this summer. She loves everyone and everything and loves to spend time with her people. She can be energetic and excitable, but she is mellowing out a lot with age. Her skills include napping, stealing people’s seats as soon as they stand up, and playing tug.

Our downstairs neighbors are great - extremely nice and friendly, quiet, courteous, thoughtful, and communicative. They have a young shepherd mix that will be using the backyard as well.
