Roommate Wanted

You need a room, we need a roommate! The room will be available by June 1st. But may be available sooner.

The House: 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2-story house in Ingleside. Large full kitchen, living room, dining room, and large backyard (with BBQ and seasonal vegetable garden), plus garage with storage space. Washer and dryer.

The Location: On Miramar, near Grafton/Holloway. Close to lots of public transit: Muni buses 29 and 54 plus the K streetcar are all within two blocks of the house. Balboa BART is about a 10-15 min walk or a short bus ride. Blocks from City College, and SF State is a long walk or short ride on the 29 bus. Ocean Ave is two blocks away, with many restaurants, shops, and services.

Available Bedroom: $950 mo. Located upstairs with 2 other bedrooms, the bedroom measures 11X12 feet, with a window overlooking the backyard garden.

Details: WiFi available. We split all utilities (water, garbage, PG&E) into four ways. The monthly utilities fluctuate but it’s usually around $100-$130 a month per person.

The Roommates: Three people, one guy, and two women. We've lived in the house for over ten years, so the situation is very stable. We are pretty laid back in most ways. We are a special education teacher/writer who also hikes; a freelance writer and musician; and an SFSU student.

Living-wise, we’re casual but prefer to keep things more on clean than messy side. We ask you to clean up after yourself (like, do dishes when done eating, and don't leave around for days!). The living room is primarily space for the two main renters and is not a common area.

We're a creative household, with people who like to read a lot, watch movies, make art, and have thought-provoking discussions. A musician lives here but she plays the ukulele so it's all acoustic and the house is big enough so you don't hear it.

Rental is month to month (no lease needed, no credit check). For move-in, we request a $100 cleaning deposit plus the first & last month’s rent, so $2000.00 total. Sorry, no cats or dogs are allowed.
