Split level, two bedroom condo. 12x10 room. Private attached bathroom with shower (no tub), two closets, large north facing window with custom blinds, laminate wood floors. Attached garage parking with Washer & Dryer. Full kitchen access, with dedicated pantry space, large refrigerator, dishwasher. Half Bath downstairs for guests and convenience so you don't always have to run to the third floor. Two outdoor patio areas and a small garden are also accessible. Condo is in a gated community with guest parking (when available) and a pool. Since the condo is multi-level, tenant would have to be able to make it up the stairs. There is no way to enter this unit without going up stairs.

*Move in date is expected to be June 1st, but I am literally having this entire bathroom gutted and refinished over the next couple of weeks. Even though it supposed to be finished by the 1st, I am always skeptical of construction deadlines. Pictures included show the old bathroom to give you an idea of the orientation as that will remain the same, but absolutely everything but the toilet (which is relatively new) is being replaced. New Vanity and lighting, new waterproof stone flooring, engineered stone shower enclosure with built in shelving, frameless glass shower door, waterfall showerhead with detachable spray bar, and all new matte black fixtures throughout. The entire room will also be freshly painted since the last tenant has been there so long. The flooring in the half bath downstairs and kitchen is also being replaced to match what will be in the new bathroom.

Located just a couple blocks off the 405 freeway at the Nordhoff exit, and less than two miles from the 118 at Sepulveda, less than 3 miles from access to the 5 and 170, less than 4 miles from CSUN. Walking distance to various stores/restaurants in the neighborhood.

You would be living with a mild mannered, quiet and easy going, 40 year old male. I am the home owner, so would only be dealing directly with me. I'm very clean and quiet, humorous, a movie and TV junkie, love animals, the outdoors, wine tasting, zoos, museums, writing, film making, and an assortment of other nerdy exploits. Since this is more of a roommate situation where you have access to the whole house, a lot of choosing a tenant will come down to compatibility. I am also a man who dates other men, so if you're not comfortable with that, you know, living together probably isn't the best idea.

I have two cats who are very sweet, friendly, and well-behaved. They will want to be your friend, but know they are not supposed to be in the spare bedroom (but will attempt because cats will be cats). No other pets are allowed in the house unless they small animals contained inside a cage or aquarium.

My ideal tenant is above all clean, courteous, and respectful. I'm pretty easy to get along with, and would love to live with someone who has common interests if they're out there. Someone looking for a place to be longer term is what I am looking for as I do not wish to repeat this process any time soon. I have great success renting this space over the years and each of my tenants has stayed ~2 years or more (the last one was for almost 9). I can offer former tenant referrals if you would like.
