The address is 150 Ocean Parkway Kensington, NY in Brooklyn. Its a beautiful tree lined neighborhood that is very safe, a healthy blend of families and younger professionals, and best of all its three blocks from a beautiful part of Prospect Park! There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance and Park Slope is a 10-15 min walk, a 5 min bike ride, or 2 stops on the F train which is a block away from the apartment. You can also get to the Lower East Side Manhattan in about 20 min door to door on the F train as well.

The apt itself is huge by NY standards. Its 1100 sq ft, 2 BR 2 FULL bath, huge kitchen w/ dishwasher, a brand new washer dryer in unit and extra storage space included. You would have your own (huge) bathroom and a bunch of closet space. The second bedroom is large enough to fit a Queen size bed and has a wall to wall floor to ceiling closet. The bedrooms are also on opposite sides of the apartment so privacy is also not an issue.

About me: I'm a really busy 30 year old guy. Between a very demanding 9-5 (8-7) , university three nights a week, DJing on the weekends and spending time with my daughter, I'm not home a ton. I'm pretty laid back in most ways but I'm serious when it comes to peace and quiet and cleanliness. When I do finally make the time to be home I need to be able to rest and recover. This basically just means no loud noises or groups of friends over before 7AM or after 10PM weekdays, that's it.

In terms of housekeeping: I keep a very clean and neat home. I have a strict no shoes in the house policy, I take good care of my furniture, I try to keep the couch and living room clean and welcoming, and I try to clean up the kitchen every time I use it. Not a fan of piles of dirty dishes in the sink for days. No smokers of any kind please, vaping is OK. No cats or dogs for the most part but I would be open to a small, well trained dog that you brush often and/or doesn't shed too much. (I'm considering getting one myself in a few months)

The total rent is $2400 a month plus utilities and the second bedroom is $1100 plus utilities or $1500 for a couple. I would need first month and last month for move in plus a $50 credit check. We will also sign a simple one page roommate agreement along the lines of "don't touch my stuff I won't touch yours / you have to give me 90 days notice before you leave" etc.

Dec. 1 is a possible move in date as well as Jan. 1. Give me a call to talk about this as I've made plans in December to be with family the last two weeks that we should discuss.

Extra perks: I love to cook, if you want to split some grocery bills, I will cook dinner with lunch leftovers, often. I love all kinds of music so play whatever you want anytime. I have a lot of friends in the area and am happy to introduce you, and if you do have a small dog: I'm happy to take him/her for a nice long walk in Prospect Park every now and then if you need me to.
