Seeking Accommodation in NYC from August 3 to Sept

Hello,
My name is David Schupp, and I am pursuing a master’s degree in social sciences at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. Alongside my studies, I work as a project manager at Vielfaltsprojekte GmbH, a company dedicated to diversity. This summer, I have the fantastic opportunity to participate in an internship at the Goethe Institute in New York City through the Transatlantic Ruhr Fellowship. Therefore, I am looking for accommodation from August 3 to September 22, 2024.

Currently, I live in a shared apartment with two roommates and have previously lived in a larger shared apartment with eleven people. I am interested in joining another shared living situation or am open to a private apartment. A key requirement for me is a good location with access to Union Square, where I will be working. Ideally, I am looking for accommodations in the price range of $1500 to $2000 per month.

In my free time, I enjoy attending cultural events, especially contemporary theater, art exhibitions, and museums focusing on social critique. I am also an avid runner and would be delighted to join a running group in New York.
