Room wanted in NYC
Hi there,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Aaliyah, and I am a queer cisgender woman. I'm currently a student at New York University, where I'm pursuing dual degrees in Applied Psychology and Global Public Health. I also have custody of my younger sister, Amiera. She is a high school student. Queer, kind and funny. 🏳️🌈 As we embark on this exciting academic journey, we are in search of a new place to call home that aligns with our needs and budget. We plan to share a room so we would need a bigger space to fit at least two twin XL beds and two desks. I do also have a black cat named Toni. She is spayed. Super friendly to people and other animals.
We are specifically looking for either a private room within an apartment with female roommates only or a studio apartment, preferably in an area with easy access to NYU. My monthly budget is up to $1,500-$2,000. I am interested in a lease term that is flexible but ideally starting in July 1 2024.
A bit about my sister and I : We are dedicated to our studies and also deeply value a peaceful and tidy living environment. We're respectful of shared spaces and the importance of maintaining a positive and supportive home atmosphere. In our free time, We enjoy exploring the city, engaging in community service, and pursuing interests in health and wellness.
