ASL/Deaf friendly seeking a place to live ASAP

I'm a 50-something deaf gay artist and UX designer based in Manhattan, currently seeking a like-minded roommate. My interests include art, fashion, and design, and I'm looking for someone flexible and open-minded to share a living space with.

About me: I'm easygoing, outgoing, and enjoy staying active. Cooking and socializing are among my favorite things, and I'm excited about the prospect of finding a roommate who shares similar vibes.

My budget for rent, including utilities, is $700 to $1050 per month, and I'm looking for a long-term arrangement, ideally a year or longer.
I need a semi-furnished bedroom with essentials like a bed, dresser, and shelf. I also have an industrial sewing machine that I'd like to bring along. Additionally, I enjoy painting with oils and watercolors, so having space for my artistic endeavors is essential.

I'm interested in living in a nice area with easy access to amenities and public transportation, preferably in Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan.
