Looking for 1 roommate* to rent out the upstairs area of my current 4 bedroom place. Upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, a small loft-esque area and a good size hall closet. You'd also have a whole living room area downstairs you can utilize a majority of. You will also have your own off street parking spot.

Shared spaces would include the kitchen, bathroom, basement (not finished, for storage only), small backyard, and porch room area. Home is located on the Southside of La Crosse near Gunderson.

Rent, water, electric, and internet will all be split evenly. Electric will very month to month but total cost of rent, water, and Internet will be $610**. Washer and dryer available in the bathroom, not coin operated.

Shared responsibilities would include regular cleaning of shared spaces, and winter snow removal from front yard, back yard, and parking area. Landlord handles mowing.

Looking for someone quiet, clean, and responsible who will be on time with all monthly payments. You will need to get approval from my landlord before official move in, which will include a background check and will require references, and possibly other checks he may need to make.

Female (or non-binary) preferred. No pets please. LGBTQIA+ friendly household. No smoking or illegal substance use. No drama, we can work things out calmly like adults should any issues arise.

About me: My name is Mel (she/they), I am 34 years old and work full time from home in marketing, and work part time as a door dasher. I'm pan, liberal, a bit nerdy, easygoing with a broad sense of humor, and my hobbies include going to concerts, video games, reading, collecting, TikTok, the occasional craft, and movies. I have 1 non-binary child who is 9 and currently lives full time with their dad and his partner, but will be present in the home after school some days or at times overnight if their dad is out of town. This has potential to change, things are kind of fluid right now as this current living arrangement is very new and we're still figuring things out.

My current roommates are still in the process of moving out so showings will not be available until they have their things out, which should hopefully be early June. Potential for a slightly earlier move in date (about 1 week) can be discussed if needed.

**If you are a couple (2 roommates) rent/water/electric/internet will instead be split 3 ways. If this is the case then rent/water/internet would instead be $406 plus electric each.
