Private Room and Bath, Fun Guy as Roommate

Hey! I’ve got a room opening up in my place on Park St. It’s a chill setup—walking distance to a grocery store, about 4 minutes to downtown by car (or a nice 20-min walk if you're into that), and right on a bus line. Super convenient.
You’d have your own private bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom is in the main living space, so it’s technically not en suite, but we can totally chat about how to keep it private and workable. I can help furnish the room if you need it.
The rest of the house is shared—living room, kitchen, and in-unit laundry. Heads up though: I’ve lived here for five years, so the shared spaces are pretty much set up and furnished with my stuff. The place has a lived-in feel, and I’ve definitely taken up space, especially when it comes to storage and decor. That said, there’s still room to make it feel like home for both of us—we’ll just work together on what makes sense.
I’ve got a very sweet dog and a chill cat. Open to another dog roommate too—just depends on the vibe and if everyone gets along.
About me: I run my own business and work in the trades, so my schedule is all over the place. Usually up early (6–7am-ish), and things wind down around 10pm to midnight. I’m not a neat freak, but I keep things clean and stay on top of house chores. Bit of creative chaos sometimes, but nothing wild.
This is an LGBTQ+ friendly home and I value respect, clear communication, mutual care, and a no-nonsense, community-minded approach to sharing space. Think shared snacks, split chores, and solidarity—not hierarchy.
Rent is fair (not here to profit off anyone's housing situation), and I’m down to work out something that feels equitable for both of us.
