1.) $800 monthly rent with a $400 deposit. 12x16 Primary bedroom with its own bathroom, and walk-in closet.
2.) $500 monthly rent with a $300 deposit. 10x13 room with shared bathroom.
The house is a 3 bedroom two bathroom house. It’s close to multiple grocery stores, restaurants, and parks. The kitchen is small but big enough to share. Especially since I’m not a big cook.
Only Female roommates will be considered, since I am a single mother that doesn’t feel comfortable having men in my home. If you are a trust worthy male please know this isn’t about you, but nothing you say will convince me to change my mind.
An important thing to note about the house previous owners were an older couple that smoked inside. I’ve been working on removing the smell, it’s mostly gone but if you’re sensitive to that it may be something to keep in mind.
I don’t smoke and I don’t want that around my child, so no smoking of any kind.
I am open to cats and small to medium sized dogs. My kid is scared of big dogs.
If you are a single mom the 12x16 room is big enough where you and your child would both be comfortable
Get to know me:
I am a 34 year old, single mom, whose favorite pass time is listening to audiobooks. I’m renting a room because I’m just trying to make sure I can pay my bills, and still have enough to take by baby out to eat because kids these days are expensive. I co-parent so my baby is mostly with their dad and stepmom. They are only with me on weekends. I work a regular 9-6 and with commute time I’m gone most of the day. I get home to eat, clean, and maybe watch a couple episodes of my favorite shows, before I go to sleep. I’m a pretty boring person who doesn’t normally have people over, but I get along well with almost anyone. I like animals I just haven’t committed to taking on that responsibility yet. Pets become a part of your family, and I’m of the mindset that the decision of getting one should not be taken lightly. I cook but I’m not a cook. You know what I mean. My food is edible and I’ve managed to survive to 34 going on 35, but definitely nothing worthy of sharing or showing off. I’m an introvert who gets along with extroverts. I was shy in highschool, but due to life circumstances I had to grow out of that shyness. Because of that I get along well with most people regardless of if they are introverts or extroverts.
