Sunny Private room

Hi! I'm looking for someone to sublet my room in a shared apartment from February 15 or March 1 through August 31 (with potential option to re-sign lease). I have lived in this apartment for seven years and am sad to be leaving, but I am moving in with my partner--otherwise I would stay.

The space: It's a good-sized room with a large closet and radiator heat. A queen bed and desk fit comfortably in the space with room to move around. The room gets good morning light, has an outdoor porch directly next to it, and is quiet. The apartment is a second floor walk-up in a triple decker house. It's a 3 bedroom, 1 bath with a full kitchen (including pantry and dishwasher). Coin-operated laundry in the basement. Street parking available (and almost always easy). The landlord is responsible and attentive, but not pushy. The apartment is non-smoking, no drugs, no pets (allergies, sadly). LGBTQ friendly.

The roommates: You would be sharing the apartment with three professionals in their early-mid 30s: an author, a salesperson for a small software company, and a Harvard postdoc. They are friendly but generally keep to themselves.

The location: The apartment is located on a quiet residential street on the Brighton/Allston line. We are about 1.5 miles from Harvard Square, 2 miles from Central Square, and are on the 86 and 70 bus lines. 3 minute walk to the nearest grocery store (Star Market). Trader Joe's also in walking distance. The area is residential but has been under development over the last few years--we are close to Article 24, Pavement Coffeehouse, and The Breakfast Club, among others.

The money: Rent is $755 per month. Utilities (gas, electric, internet, miscellaneous household supplies) are split and run about $100 per month. First and last month's rent required to move in.

This apartment would be a great fit for a graduate student or young professional looking for a low-key affordable room to work and/or study. The ideal roommate is reasonably quiet, responsible, and friendly.
