Hey there! I'm a former Nuke ETN Instructor at Prototype. I just separated Christmas Eve of 2022, so I still remember what I had to do in order to survive the rotating shiftwork.
I have what used to be my Guest Bedroom available for rent. It's a pretty nice room, 158 square feet, fully furnished with a full sized bed (with a supportive foam mattress that's so much better than the barracks), nightstand (2 drawers), Dresser (5 drawers), Desk (2 drawers), and a built-in bookshelf. The closet also has a built-in with 3 areas to hang clothes, 1 drawer, and 5 shelves (not including the top shelf that runs all 8 feet of the closet). It currently has a space theme, but you don't have to keep the décor. The door is lockable, but there is hardly anyone else in the house other than myself and my parents (Super long story, but they are quiet and have no guests). There is a window that overlooks the backyard and has both heavy duty Venetian cordless-lift blinds with blackout curtains.
There is a full bath that has recently been refurbished that you'll share with only one other person (Pictures available on request). It's pretty nice, since we have a tankless gas hot water heater, so you can take as long as you want showers without running out of hot water. Also, you don't pay any utilities, so there's nothing holding you back from Hollywood showers. It's a tub/shower combo unit, but the tub is a garden style tub, so great for soaking. If you want to share the Master Bathroom with me (Pictures available on request), it's an extra $200 per month. Due to my job, you'd have the bathroom to yourself about half of the month due to my travel heavy job. There is a double vanity, so you'd get your own sink, separate water closet (Toilet room), separate shower and deep soaker tub. Tons of natural light and technical upgrades too.
These 3 rooms aren't the only benefits of renting a room from me. You'll have full access to the common areas of the house and their non-consumable contents including the Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Laundry Room, Parlor, and Library. Yes, there is a Library (Pictures available on request). You'll have your own designated spots for food storage in the Pantry and the refrigerator. Outside, you'll have access to the wrap around Front Porch, the Rear Deck, the Patio, and the Workshop, plus a fully fenced-in backyard.
What's so great about having access to these common spaces? Dude, it's all the stuff that I'm willing to share with you. The Kitchen and Dining Room are pretty basic. Lots of cooking and eating stuff.
The Living Room has a huge TV with an Apple Box, Flex Box, DVD/Blu-ray Player, Wii, and VCR, plus there are hundreds of movies and TV shows for you to watch plus nearly every streaming service. There's also a huge collection of modern board games to play. Sure, there is Monopoly and Clue, but there are so many other cool ones including Ticket to Ride and Betrayal not to mention the Kickstarter Specials like Castles of Mad King Ludwig and Jurassic World: The Legacy of Isla Nublar.
The Parlor is a mix between a reading room and a music room, so there are comfy seats to sit in, a typewriter, and a piano for you to enjoy.
The Library is huge with over 9,000 books for you to enjoy!
The Laundry Room has a luxury set of appliances, so the dryer can even steam your clothes, eliminating ironing.
The workshop has pretty much every tool needed to do stuff with wood. Plus, I like the maker community and have a ton of 3D printers, Laser cutter/engravers, CNC Machines, and more.
If you need some storage, I have space available in the attic for you.
My community has 16 miles of trails (Bike available to borrow), 4 pools, tennis courts, several parks, and Lake Crowfield, available for fishing and kayaking (Kayak available to borrow).
