2 Master-Sized Rooms, Single Or Double Occupancy

Hi everyone,

I have two MASTER-SIZED rooms for SINGLE or DOUBLE occupancy available to replace our roommates moving out. All we require of you is to be CLEAN and to meet us IN PERSON.

LOCATION: East San Jose
Conveniently located right off the 101. Eastridge mall , Target, Ross, Wing Stop, Tacomania, Pekoe, Safeway, Chipotle, In N Out, Chick Fil-A, and Costco are all within 10 mins along with many restaurants and other shopping complexes. SJSU is also about a 10-15 min drive away.

MOVE IN DATE: July 1st

LEASE TERM: 1 year

RENT: Room 1 - $1800 (190 sq ft with shared bathroom)
Room 2 - $2000 (220 sq ft with private bathroom)
BOTH ROOMS ARE BIG ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DOUBLING UP TO SPLIT THE RENT.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Same as rent for room

UTILITIES: Ranges from $70-$150 depending on the month and number of people in the house as we split utilities evenly. I pay for the internet, take out the trash and recycling, and check the mail.

PARKING: Street Parking only, there is always plenty of space in front of our house so parking is not an issue. We had 5 cars and none of us ever had any problems finding a spot!

ABOUT THE HOUSE: The house itself is about 2000 sq ft and we have a lot of common space. It is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house.
We have a large living room area with an 80” TV, a dining area and a kitchen with electric stove. We have another small room thats good to read or relax in. We also have a large backyard thats perfect to bbq in. Our front yard is pretty nice as well and is completely fenced in for more privacy.

HOUSE RULES: We are open to both drinking and smoking (we have a designated smoking spot in the garage!), and are fine with gatherings or people over as long as your drop a notice in the house groupchat. We also have informal cleaning rules for common areas but expect people to clean up after themselves and respect the common space.

ABOUT TENANTS: There is one other Tenant other than myself named Melea, she is a full time teacher AND student pursuing her Masters Degree so she stays pretty much to herself.

ABOUT ME (Caleb): I enjoy reading, board games, and playing video games (I am currently really into The Finals, Oblivion Remastered, and Space Marine II). I love to play the piano and am very musical in general. I enjoy intellectual conversations about anything and everything. I also love trying new food.

NOVA: She is my dog (a pittie) who is a sweetheart and very cuddly. She enjoys long walks, being energetic, good food, long naps and all the attention a human could possibly give her.
She is very friendly with people however when it comes to other dogs it can depend. She can be reactive and very picky about dogs she interacts with. I am working on this, however we have a long road ahead. We would prefer no other pets but we are open to another medium sized MALE dog, however we would have to slowly introduce and socialize them which would probably require multiple meetings.
