The room is $1525, not including utilities, which will be about $40/month. The landlord would like a 1 year lease starting on July 1st, but a slightly earlier move-in date is probably possible.
The room is in a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhome located right on the Palo Alto/Mountain View border. The two of us that are currently living in the apartment are both male Googlers. We have lived here together (with other Googlers) for the past 4.5 years. We keep the house reasonably clean, and frequently hangout in the common area (mostly to play Smash Bros, but also the occasional board game). There is third person planning to move in at the start of July.
The room is on the 2nd floor of the townhome and has its own private bathroom. The room is approximately 13x10 ft and includes a private balcony. No parking spot is included, but street parking next to the complex is available.
The only noteworthy amenity is gigabit ethernet, provided to the complex by a small ISP. We have been very pleased with it.
