Private Room in Palo Alto

Hi there, on August 15th I will have one room available for rent in a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house located in a quiet, safe neighborhood near Alma and Oregon Expressway in Palo Alto.
The 2 people living here are 2 M. Occupying the upstairs room is my father, who recently moved in as he came out of retirement to consult at his old job. He is quiet and friendly. He does not cook and is rarely in the downstairs, aside from bathroom use. His living in that unit is temporary. I took the last couple of years to rent the room on a famous bed and breakfast site and have really enjoyed meeting people from around the world but as my schedule gets busier I need something more permanent. I am down-to-earth, friendly, clean, easy going, social person and am looking for a similar person. I am respectful of your work schedule and noise, and looking for someone who will do the same. I understand that we all have our own busy agendas but would also enjoy having a somewhat social person in the house as well that would like to find time to hang out and do meals together too. The other room will remain listed on the B and B site. I mainly get younger college age to young professionals coming to visit Stanford.

The house will be fully furnished, bedroom included if needed. Amenities include 2 bathrooms, remodeled kitchen, washer-dryer, Comcast cable with HD-DVR, high-speed wireless internet, garage for storage, fenced in backyard with patio, enclosed front patio with grill. The living room has a 65inch TV for all of your viewing needs. There is Comcast cable hook up in the room with full access cable. There are 3 parking spaces in the driveway and plenty of parking on street. We are located across the street from an elementary school so there is ample parking. Sharing food or keeping food separate is up to you. You will have your own cupboard and space in our 2 refrigerators.
