Room available in 5 bed 3 bath house

Looking for our future roomie!

The House is 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3000 sq ft. and tucked away in a canyon. We get very little vehicle or foot traffic.

House features:
- Quiet neighborhood and very safe
- Recent construction (2014)
-Easy parking right out the front door (No street cleaning, No permits.)
- 2 car garage which hosts storage and a small but mighty gym (full squat rack set up!)
- Ample communal space (two living rooms!) One is more for lounging, watching TV and the other is used for crafting, working, yoga, etc. but you're welcome to use the space however you’d like, just be respectful of the home and items since we’ve all contributed our own personal items.
- Nice new appliances (5 burner gas stove, dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, washer/dryer, microwave)
- Central heating AND AC (I know…)
- Gas fireplace
- Balcony with great views
-Backyard
- 1000 Mbps internet connection
- Immediate access to San Bruno State Park trails
- Amenities in the neighborhood: sand volleyball courts, tennis court, and softball field right down the hill
-We're pretty centrally located in terms of getting into different parts of the city since there's so many entrances, 15min to FiDi, Castro, Mission, 20min to San Mateo.
-Public Transportation (Brisbane offers free shuttles to Bart/Caltrain stations)

Who are we: We're a group of community-minded, thoughtful professionals ranging from mid 20's-40's; (1 female, 3 males) primarily working in Biotech. We're all pretty active, enjoy nature, food, art, spending time outdoors. All are vaccinated.

On occasion, we’ll find shows/movies to watch together, or join in if someone is watching something in the living room. I also enjoy cooking and so do a few of the roommates, so we occasionally cook together. And if all of us are around, we'll throw in a house cook/dinner night. But we also enjoy our own space and respect it.

Who are you: someone respectful of others and shared space, open to engaging with housemates, and isn’t judgmental. Sorry, no pets are allowed. We do house clean ups every few months when the house is looking like it needs a deep clean.

The room on offer:
-The bedroom is 12ft x 12ft, with 7ft of closet space. (I have a king size bed and was still able to fit other things without feeling restricted).
-The bathroom is shared with 2 other roomies, there's a door separating the toilet/shower from the vanity/sink area (we've never had an issue with fighting over the bathroom).
SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY. Monthly rent is $1246/month for the room (this could potentially change since the lease needs to be renewed in April).

We'll need you to sign on to a 1 year lease. This includes paying a deposit of $1236 and passing a background check administered by the owner of the house, which costs ~$45.
