Furnished room in bright, friendly, spacious home
Thanks for checking out our ad. Here's what we've got to offer.
The Apartment: We have just signed the lease on a three-story, one family home! The open kitchen/dining/living room floorplan is a dream come true. Perfect for fostering community and hosting dinner parties. Windows abound, and the place was built in 2007, so everything is pretty up-to-date. Granite countertops in the kitchen and "top-of-the-line" appliances - my favorite feature being the gas stovetop. As we have not moved in ourselves yet, the photos here show it all unfurnished. If you're interested, I have a video that shows how the tenants before had it furnished. And when you move in, your room will be furnished and ready for you. Washer and dryer in the unit and a garage for storage! My car will be parked in the garage, but we live on a quite little street and parking is readily available there. A good amount of storage space throughout the apartment as well.
The Neighborhood: Between Pac Heights and Hayes Valley, we are within walking distance of plenty of adorable shops and hip restaurants. Even more importantly, a 5-minute walk to Safeway and less than a block away from the park! Perfect location for picnics, which we do often. Nearby bus stops include: 31, 92, 22, 38, 38R. We're just at the bottom of the Pac Heights hills, so biking from downtown is not bad at all.
Carla: A gem of a human with a heart of gold. She loves wine and the city. She moved out here about a year ago from Georgia. She's a real-life rock-n-roll southern belle. She works hard and plays hard. When you're on her good side, she's one of the most loyal and generous people you will ever meet.
Jacob: Gentle, logical, and always thinking of others. He is equal parts tech smarty-pants and dirty-handed outdoorsman. He's a west coast kid through and through and can have a conversation with anyone. He loves cooking and sharing food, and anything he touches in the kitchen turns to edible gold.
Me (Eli): Very protective of my roomies and organizer of all things concerning housing and eventing. I like aerial arts and climbing anything. I've moved around a lot and recently moved to SF to be with Jacob and explore a new city. I have a degree in Sociology, so I'm happy to talk your ear off about anything related to that.
Stanford: Friendly and fluffy, he loves his mama (Carla). Yorkie-pom who sheds less than all three of us. He's small and has no history of biting. He also doesn't bark, which is pretty cool of him.
You: If you've read through all of this and you're interested in being a part of the sweetest little community, we'd love to hear from you! We're looking for someone who is considerate, clean, and kind. We respect our spaces and our belongings, and we want to live with people who feel the same. It's also necessary that you are welcoming and accepting of all types of people. If you're the person to fill our room and join our home, we're waiting for you!
Feel free to get in touch with me here or to text me. We'd love to have a phone call or an in-person meeting to get to know you!
