Hello!
Thanks for checking out our ad. Here's what we've got to offer.
$1700/month or $400/week - open to short-term stays.
The Apartment: We have just a couple months left on the lease for our three-story, one family home. Unfortunately, our roommate is unexpectedly moving out of state, but we are excited about the prospect of making new friends! This is a great spot for anyone traveling for business for a few months, someone wanting to explore a cool SF neighborhood, or anyone just in between for a bit.
The open kitchen/dining/living room floorplan is a dream come true. Perfect for fostering community and hosting dinner parties. Windows abound, and the place was built in 2007, so everything is pretty up-to-date. Granite countertops in the kitchen and "top-of-the-line" appliances - my favorite feature being the gas stovetop. Some of the photos here show the common spaces unfurnished, but I?ll have some current photos up soon (message me if you?re interested and I haven?t got them up yet; I can send them right to you). Your bright room is furnished and ready for you, unless you prefer unfurnished. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a garage for storage! My car will be parked in the garage, but we live on a quite little street and parking is readily available there. A good amount of storage space throughout the apartment as well.
The Neighborhood: Between Pac Heights and Hayes Valley, we are within walking distance of plenty of adorable shops and hip restaurants. Even more importantly, a 5-minute walk to Safeway and less than a block away from the park! Perfect location for picnics, which we do often. Nearby bus stops include: 31, 92, 22, 38, 38R. We're just at the bottom of the Pac Heights hills, so biking from downtown is not bad at all.
The Roommates:
Jacob: Gentle, logical, and always thinking of others. He is equal parts tech smarty-pants and dirty-handed outdoorsman. He's a west coast kid through and through and can have a conversation with anyone. He loves cooking and sharing food, and anything he touches in the kitchen turns to edible gold.
Me (Eli): Very protective of my roomies and organizer of all things concerning housing and eventing. I like aerial arts and climbing anything. I've moved around a lot and moved to SF last year to be with Jacob and explore a new city. I have a degree in Sociology, so I'm happy to talk your ear off about anything related to that.
You: If you've read through all of this and you're interested in being a part of the sweetest little community, we'd love to hear from you! We're looking for someone who is considerate, clean, and kind. We respect our spaces and our belongings, and we want to live with people who feel the same. It's also necessary that you are welcoming and accepting of all types of people. If you're the person to fill our room and join our home, we're waiting for you!
Couples are welcome with an additional $100/month.
Feel free to get in touch with me here or to text me. We'd love to have a phone call or an in-person meeting to get to know you!
