Room in 2bedroom SOMA apartment with backyard!

Hey - my name is Max and I'm currently looking for a new roommate for a two bedroom apartment.

My current roommate Ted is getting his own apartment at the end of October, and I'm looking for a new roommate starting anytime after Oct. 24th. This is a two bedroom apartment with each bedroom located at the end of a long hallway.

Rent is $1500 per month. This is a recently renovated apartment with a dishwasher, small backyard with some gym equipment, friendly neighbors, and a new washer and dryer set in the basement. The landlords name is Thom, he's cool and very reasonable, and has been very accommodating with maintenance or making improvements to the apartment. There are heaters in both bedrooms and the kitchen.

No car parking, as in there isn't a garage, but there is room for a bike, scooter, or motorcycle and ample storage space in the first floor basement area. My current roommate furnished most of the shared areas, so when he leaves it will be unfurnished. I am in the process of buying furniture but would be happy to work together to furnish the apartment with you if you are bringing furniture.

No pets please. We each would have our own room, but share a bathroom and living room.

About me:
-26 year old working professional who splits his day between working on site and working from home
-Moved cross country to SF in February, so still new to the area
-I enjoy cooking a lot, playing and listening to music, working out in the yard, and going out and being social when Covid is not an issue

Before Covid times, I enjoyed being pretty social and saw an apartment as a place to wind down from long work days and keep it pretty low key during the week. Since being social is a lot harder now, it would be nice to have a roommate who is sociable and outgoing. I’m always down for some drinks and hanging out in the living room together.

What I'm looking for in a roommate:
- Male or Female
- Considerate, clean, responsible, stable job to pay rent on time
- Non-smoker
- mid 20s/early 30s working professional
- No couples or "honorary roommate" significant others
