Bedroom for rent in spacious, quiet Richmond 3 bed

We are looking for a responsible housemate to join our home in central Richmond. The 3 bed / 2 bath flat is on the top (3rd) floor of the 3-unit building, with a well-lit and airy living room, dining room, and kitchen that are great for entertaining as well as relaxing. The two of us are working professionals in our late twenties. We like to hang out and watch TV over a beer or glass of wine in the evenings, and would love to have someone who wants to do the same!

What you get:
- Mid-sized *unfurnished* bedroom (11 ? ft. by 11 ? ft.)
- Full-sized closet with ~ 6 ft. of hanger space
- Shared bathroom with one female roommate
- Common spaces: large living room, large dining room, large kitchen with new appliances
- Coin-operated laundry machine in building
- Space to store a bike in the stairwell

Who we are:
Zach and Lea are both fans of traveling / wine / hiking / cooking / burritos / yoga / spending time with friends, and work in tech in the city. We've both been working from home since the onset of the pandemic, but the apartment has enough space that it's not crowded. Zach has family outside of the city, and may spend 1-2 weeks at a time working from there, so there may only be one other person working ~1/2 the time. We're pretty active, social people, and always down for a beer / cooking dinner / the latest binge-worthy show after work!

Neighborhood:
- Grocery Outlet 1 ? blocks away
- Great coffee shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk
- Easy access to the 1 and 38 bus lines - can be in FiDi in 30 minutes
- No permit required for street parking (requires some hunting at night, generally plentiful during the day)

Who you are:
- A clean, tidy, responsible professional with steady income, similar in age
- Looking for a quiet, clean place to live and work (during the pandemic office shutdown)
- Male or female, as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom with a female
- Planning to stay at least until the end of the year - lease is up for renewal then

Details:
- Available the last week of August; must move in by September 1st
- Security deposit $1450
- Utilities (gigabit fiber internet, water, trash, electricity, gas) run about $100-150 per month including house cleaning every ~2 months
- No pets
- No off street parking

At least one of us is available most days to show the room, but ask that you please wear a mask and be respectful. Once you're a member of the home, we ask that you take precautions against the virus and follow all city guidelines in public, including washing hands upon entering.
