We're looking to fill one bedroom in our unit starting in August 1, 2019. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the first floor of a large condo complex.

A little about the space: We're looking for someone to fill the smaller bedroom which shares the guest bathroom in the hallway with another roommate. The room can fit a full bed and furniture. There is a closet with sliding doors and shelves inside. Our current roommate is selling her furniture with the room (pictured) for $1500 (at a $4000 value w/ initial cost of furniture and assembly). That includes a bed frame, mattress, mattress pad, lamp, vanity w/ mirror and chair, 2 book storage cases, side table, and a large dresser. All of the furniture is Hemnes from IKEA with the exception of the vanity, which was purchased from Amazon.

The unit also includes a free washer/dryer, a full kitchen with appliances (electric stove, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee machine) and plenty of cabinet space, and a fully furnished living and dining area. The unit opens up outside to a small private patio that leads to the larger courtyard of the complex which has an outdoor grilling/seating area. You can see the ocean from the living room window. The building also has a small gym on the ground floor.

Location: We're directly across the street from Safeway. Rent includes one tandem parking space in the garage below the building. Garbage and water are included in the rent; we pay PG&E and wifi (usually ~$30-$50/month). For commuters, the easiest highway to get to is 280 by going down Great Highway. There are multiple bus lines that go by the apartment that take you to BART as well.

A little about your future roommates: We both identify as White, heterosexual, women in our mid-20s. One is a doctoral student studying clinical psychology at a local university and the other works in tech downtown. We stay pretty busy and try to find a good balance between work and play. We both enjoy exploring SF and going out on the weekends if we can swing it. Friends and significant others stay the night occasionally as well. One roommate owns a medium-sized dog so you must be dog friendly.

K is originally from NY and moved to SF two years ago. She works at a clinic in another part of the city most days.

E is originally from TX and moved to SF one year ago. She works at a tech company in SoMa and owns a 2.5 year old Siberian Husky.

In general, we're both very easy going, clean people who are looking for a similar-minded person. We're open about who takes the room with regard to various diversity variables. We would consider couples but would have to negotiate the price of the room.

If it's a good fit then you would have to be approved by the rental company by submitting information about your income, credit, past rental references, etc. Security deposit of $1500 will be paid directly to our roommate who is leaving, as well as an additional $1500 if you'd like her furniture. So total cost includes: 1st month rent, $1500 security + $1500 for furniture.
