About the room:
The room is the master bedroom which is in great shape, and it's HUGE. Attached private bathroom with tub/shower and skylight, and two-sided walk-through closet (see picture two). The old tenant of this room treated it practically as a studio when she lived in this apartment. After six years in this unit, she's decided it was time to downsize by moving into the one bedroom in this building that is located right below this room (yeah, she loves this place that much)!.She's currently in the process of moving out, so pictures of the room itself to come once the boxes are out of the way! This room does not face the street.

About the apartment:
The kitchen opens into the living room, with dishwasher, four burner stove, regular oven, and "retro" toaster oven. Living room has windows lining the street side, and has lots of room for hosting. The apartment is on the older side, but is spacious and comfortable with lots of storage and cabinet space. We also have two massive hall closets for communal storage, including everything ranging from spare crock pots to tents and other camping supplies!

About the roommates:
The roommates are both women in their mid-twenties. C is a native San Franciscan who has been in this apartment for almost two years after she came back from bouncing around from Boston and Atlanta. She's a graduate student at UCSF at the Mission Bay Campus. A is moving from Los Angeles for a job in energy conservation in FIDI. Both are easygoing and looking for someone who is friendly, responsible, respectful, and who will appreciate the city as much as we do.

About the commute:
The apartment is located within a few blocks of MUNI lines 1, 2, 24, 38, and 43 and is approximately ~20 to 30 minutes by bus from the Financial District and SOMA near Market St (the 38 comes regularly and frequently, and is a great way to get to BART if going to other parts of the Bay Area as well). We are two blocks away from Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical center and three and a half blocks away from the UCSF Mt. Zion Campus. We're also close to UCSF and multiple tech shuttles.
