Hello there! I'm looking for a housemate to share my rent-controlled flat, available on March 1st. It's on the top floor of an Edwardian-style building and has a bright and airy feel to it, thanks to east- and west-facing windows, high ceilings, and a skylight over the stairs. My favorite feature of the flat is the light! The neighborhood has a great relaxed feel, but still has all the perks of the city.

Month-to-month, but a longer-term stay is preferred

Building owners live downstairs
3rd bedroom is a small, shared spare room
Bathroom has a tiled shower over tub and a large window for ventilation

Covered west-facing deck off the kitchen is perfect for sunset watching
Gas range, large refrigerator, toaster oven, and microwave

The Neighborhood:
The Inner Richmond is awesome! There are lots of great restaurants and cafes within easy (~5 min) walking distance - Cinderella Bakery, Thai Time, Yuubi Sushi, and Uncle Boy's are a few neighborhood favorites. Clement Street - and the Sunday farmer’s market - is just two blocks away. Golden Gate Park and the Presidio are a short walk away. Safeway is three blocks away. Trader Joe's and Target are about a mile away. There are several bus lines that run in the neighborhood. The laundromat at the end of the block has card readers - no quarters needed!

Your Future Housemate:
I’m 44, genderqueer (she/her), and have worked for Trader Joe's for many years. I moved to San Francisco from Southern California in 2004, after spending years falling in love with the Bay Area. Home is my sanctuary; I like to keep it relaxed and cozy. I've really enjoyed having a stable roommate situation during my time living in the city - my housemates tend to stay for a few years at a time. My interests include photography, travel, learning languages (Danish is my favorite so far), reading, hiking, and wine/whiskey tasting.

Some Ideal Housemate Qualities:
Pays rent and utilities in a timely manner
Tidy, easy to get along with, respectful of common spaces and housemates
Follows Covid protocols outside the home (masks, physical distancing, small social pod, etc.)
A blend of solo and sociable at home
