We have 1 big private bedroom (11?5?? x 11?1??) in a 3 bedroom duplex apartment in Sunnyside Gardens with private outdoor patio available NOW for an Aug 15th or Sept. 1st move-in. Flexible move-in date!

Clean, safe, and quiet. This is an incredible opportunity, $1,000, utilities including electric, heat, water. You will split internet/cable TV with 2 roommates. Fully renovated apartment in 2015 which included new kitchen appliances, new windows, brand new tiled bathroom, and gorgeous hardwood floors throughout. Laundry is a breeze with your own washer/dryer in the apartment. Newly painted and deep cleaned as per CDC guidelines, and we will pay for area rugs for your bedroom when you move in. Large living/dining room (15? x 11?3??) currently empty ready for you to move in!

HUGE BONUS: There is a fenced-in big private park across the street that during COVID has private 45-minute timeslots from 8am ? 1pm, open time (please socially distance) after that. The park is beautiful, open space for gardening if interested, and often unused so there is plenty of time slots open.

There is a farmer?s market a couple blocks away on Saturday mornings. Only a block to Queens Blvd which features some of the fabulous local and international cuisines, several grocery stores, bodegas, pharmacies, etc. One block in the other direction is Skillman Ave with plenty of mom & pop restaurants, bodegas, dry cleaners, and parks. 1.5 blocks to the 7 train with easy connections to the N, W, E, M, R, and G train lines make for easy transportation. Only 15 minutes via MTA to Midtown Manhattan and a 15-minute walk (or 5 min subway ride) to Woodside to connect to the LIRR.

We can do a video tour if preferred. LGBTQ+ friendly. Sorry - no animals and no smoking allowed in the house. Currently, it is a month-to-month lease, if it works out for you and us, we are open to long term lease.

About the roommates: There are two others who you will share this space with. A woman in her late 20s, and an RPCV Rwanda who works at a nonprofit. And a guy in his early 30s who works in construction. He has his own living space on the top floor. You all will share the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and private outdoor patio. They are looking for a third roommate who is seeking a calm and peaceful space to call home. Ideally, a third roommate should be clean and respectful of other's schedules and shared items as one roommate will be working from home for the foreseeable future. The roommates would prefer someone who respects the changing dynamics of the ongoing pandemic, and in more "normal" times, doesn't bring the party home. The next roommate will have a chance to socially distance meet the current roommates before a decision is made to finalize the contract and make sure sound expectations and good vibes are shared by all.
