My roommate of 5 five years is moving out, and I'm looking for someone new in my 2BR apartment in Ridgewood, Queens.
The available room has private access to a back patio that is fenced off from the neighbors. While the room is on the small(ish) side, my roommate made it work comfortably with an elevated bed as you can see in the images. You have the option of keeping the elevated bed if you want.
The apartment is a 6-7 minute walk to the Seneca Ave M stop and about 10-12 minute walk to both the Dekalb Ave and Myrtle Wyckoff L stops.
The kitchen is very functional, and the common room has a nice entertainment set up (55" TV, surround sound system, ps4, streaming apps).
Heat is included, but we pay internet (Spectrum), gas (National Grid), and Electric (ConEd). Payments range from $65-80 per person per month (+/-).
I'm a high school teacher in the NYC schools system and live a very simple, low-key life from September through June. I typically travel during school breaks and for a good bit of July and August.
