The Apartment
Spacious apartment, with a sunlit kitchen and massive living room
Apartment has a very attentive and kind building manager
Access to the backyard and potential storage in the basement
The building is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible
Landlord is cool with us painting the walls, so we can decorate the space however we would like
Railroad - my room has a separate entrance, and your room is connected to the living room and kitchen. I will use my separate entrance to get around the apartment so you have total privacy
I just moved in, so I'm still nesting. I?m including photos of my kitchen counter for an example of my decorating style - I?m setting up the living room next, right now it?s a work in progress (I?m turning the pictured green wall into a floor to ceiling book shelf, bonus points if you love to read!)

The Location
Apartment is on the same block as the Forest Ave M Stop (but I never hear the train from inside the apartment) 10 min walk from the L
This apartment is so close to everything - same block as a great laundromat and book cafe. One block away from a really affordable grocery store. Tons of great restaurants and cute cafes within a few blocks.

Pets
I have two very cuddly cats, an elderly 9 year old cat named Diana, who will likely live separately in my room, and a 6 month kitten named Tadpole. There is potentially space for another friendly pet.

About Me
I?m a queer gnc artist (they/them) who works at a local nonprofit
I spend most of my time working, so when I come home I usually like to hang in my room, listen to music, unwind, and work on my craft projects. I really like to cook/bake in the evenings.
I?ve lived in communal homes with 10+ people, so I?m cool with pretty much any living preferences (ie, quiet vs loud preferences, guest preferences, chore systems, etc) as long as we have compassionate and open communication with each other about our needs.
