My roommate Laura and I are looking for a 3rd person to join our apartment. The lease begins August 1st. (I will be traveling for work from July - November and subletting my room to my friend Henry, so please be ok with living with any gender)
The room is medium sized, it can fit a queen sized bed and has huge windows AND a closet! Room comes with your own bathroom. The room is currently furnished and the furniture is for sale if you are interested! Will post pictures of that soon.
Apartment has a balcony, and an open plan living room/kitchen/dining room (we have a dining table that expands to seat 8, and a couch/tv setup).
We have laundry and gym equipment in the basement as well as an awesome finished rooftop with furniture, hammock and a fire pit.
Less than 10 min walk from the Halsey L and super close to the awesome outdoor bar Nowadays. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Union Square from Halsey. We are also a 12 min walk from the M train, and 3 stops on the L from the A at Broadway Junction.
Utilities are pretty low, internet is $27 and gas/electricity is usually below $50 per person.
We welcome all types of people/gender identities/etc, all we ask is that
you know how to clean up after yourself, that you like cats (I have an awesome cat named Pollo) and that you enjoy having an awesome roof and balcony!
