A decent sized lower level apartment, NEAR EVERYTHING. I'm the only one living here currently. I'm a 30 year old non smoker, who works 9-5 (some days I'm home earlier) Monday through Friday. I may go out on a weeknight for a date or something like that; I don't really have a lot of people over, maybe a few friends every once in a while to watch a game or something, but nothing crazy.

In the available room, there is currently a pretty comfortable IKEA pull out couch; I'm using it as my living room at the moment. I have extra pillows and bed sheets and blankets available. If this is a longer term rental, obviously we can discuss re arranging the room to suit you.

Obviously you’ll be able to connect to WiFi while you’re here, and Additionally, there’s currently a TV and a Roku in the room. Feel free to use Netflix, Sling TV, HBOGo, or Hulu. I also have about 300 blu rays and DVDs you can watch if you’d like! Even a Sega Genesis! (I’m including the use of all of it in the total price!)

If you're going to be in NY for a short period of time, maybe a few weeks to a month or so, definitely give me some thought! I'm not really looking for a vacationer, maybe someone here for work, or in between places that just needs a place to crash for a bit.

THERE IS NO WINDOW IN THIS ROOM... There's plenty of mirrors, and the room is pretty big, but there is NO WINDOW. I know that's a pretty big drawback, but my brother lived in that room for two years with no problems, so it's definitely workable! I’ll ask that while you stay, you maintain a clean room, I have a vacuum, feather dusters, Lysol wipes, pledge, brooms... anything you need to stay tidy!

I don’t keep a ton of food in the kitchen, so there’s space in the cabinets, fridge & freezer for your stuff. I just ask that if you’re cooking, please clean up after yourself!

The neighborhood is pretty great! There's some awesome bars and restaurants right on the block, a few supermarkets, coffee shops, and grocery stores and laundromats all within walking distance. Even a community garden a few doors down! You'll love the neighborhood, that I can promise!

The biggest perk to this room is LOCATION, I'm literally walking distance to EVERY MAJOR subway line in Queens. E F M R N W 7, even the G is about a 12 minute walk from the apartment! You are so close to Manhattan & Brooklyn, you can get ANYWHERE within about 20-30 minutes from my place.
