Massive Room in Long Island City For Rent

I co-own a unit and am renting out the second bedroom.

About the apartment: The apartment is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath. It has vaulted 11 foot high ceilings. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are shared spaces, all furnished/fully equipped. The living room contains a 7 seater couch, a Sony 65" curved 4K TV, home theater setup, and pop up coffee table. The kitchen is equipped with Viking appliances, open gas range, convection oven, etc. I also have a dining table set up that fits 6 and can expand to fit 8. It is a smart home that is set up with smart dim-able recessed lighting and Nest Home thermostats, all voice-linked to Alexas. We have Verizon 1 gb download internet speed that is split monthly. All other utilities except electricity is included. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher in unit.

About the Bedroom: The bedroom is ~150 sqft. It does not have a closet but will come with the pictured floor to ceiling racking system. It has a wall of floor to ceiling windows. It has a shared Nest Thermostat with heating/cooling and smart dim-able lighting system with the living room. It is large enough to fit a king-sized bed, computer desk, some dressers, full sized mirror, and a 65" TV.

About the building: It is a luxury condo building. It is equipped with a state of the art Gym, Yoga/Theater room, Pool Table/lounge area, a sauna/Jacuzzi area that is currently in renovations, and a massive finished rooftop with several BBQ grills/sundeck/dining tables with unparalleled views of the city skyline and waterfront (Obviously due to the COVID issues, a lot of the public areas/amenities currently have guests/timing limitations). We have 24/7 doorman/front desk/concierge service. All packages can be picked up with the front desk and even has cold storage for grocery delivery.

About the Area: Located in the highly coveted Hunters Point area in Long Island City. We are one block away from the Vernon-Jackson 7 train stop, which is one stop away from the city, Midtown (Grand Central), about an 8 minute commute door to door. We are also one block away from the LIC waterfront, and Vernon Boulevard with all the restaurants, shops, bars, and Cafes. There is an Urban Market Grocery store literally right around the corner. There is both free parking and metered parking throughout the area. I drive everyday and park on the street without much an issue. The building has a detached garage if you prefer indoor parking for around $300/month or a daily fee. Couldn't ask for a better location in Long Island City. Further down by Court Square, you also have the E ,G, and M trains as well.

About Me: I am 30 years old, Male, Asian-American, and work at a Solar Company. Fully vaccinated. My schedule is usually the traditional 9-5 and go to bed around midnight. I am very clean, respectful and a bit of a neat freak. I cook from time to time and when I'm home, I spend most of the time in my room. A few times a year I will dogsit for my family's 2 dogs, both Shiba Inu's, so must not be allergic to dogs or have an issue with them.

About You: Ideally around the same age, from mid-20's to mid-30's. Must be working or able to provide full payments upfront. Gender doesn't matter as long as you are clean, neat, and respectful as well. Will need to pitch in with normal chores (trash duty, doing your own dishes in a timely matter, cleaning the floors/bathroom, etc. or you can pitch in for a cleaning service), and will also be splitting common supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.). Preferably a non-smoker, but even if you are, you have to smoke outside the building area anyways. Building Rule.

Upfront you will need to provide first month, last month, and one month security deposit. It is an open lease, so you can stay on a month to month basis for as long as you want, but a minimum of at least a year. Available August 1st.
